The first par 5 on the back nine. An outstanding hole where the golfer experiences a variety of different design features and playing conditions. The tee is surrounded by trees. The drive must carry “Wimp Hill” and the driving area is guarded on the left by a large oak and on the right by a very difficult fairway bunker. The second shot encounters a pond that runs down the left side of hole up to just short of the green. A large live oak is perfectly positioned to challenge the golfer to hit an accurate second shot to a narrow approach. The green is very wide and shallow with a large bunker in front. The back right hole location is challenge for even the best golfer.
