All four par 5’s on Morgan River are memorable and provide different challenges and opportunities and #9 is no exception. #9 is a sharp dogleg right with a generous driving area, and the hole tends to play longer than the yardage on the card. The second shot can be a lay-up to a narrow landing area or a more risky shot to the green for the longer hitter. The green is elevated, very small and undulating. The right side of the green is closely guarded by a pond and an approach shot that drifts to the right will easily find the water. Even if you lay up your approach will require a very accurate shot to a green with a wonderful variety of hole locations.
